Read It Before You Eat It!

Read it before you eat it!
Start here. Nutrition facts, servings size and servings per container. Notice
the serving size: all nutrition facts are for one serving.
Try not to eat too much of these: total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and
sodium. Some nutrients can cause problems if you eat a lot. Choose foods with 5%
or less of these each day.
Make sure to get enough of these: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, calcium, and iron.
Eating enough of these nutrients can help you stay healthy. Choose foods with
20% or more of these each day.
Use the 5% - 20% guide to daily values to choose foods.
Ask you doctor how much is right for you based on the percent daily value
information on the label.
